1. Background

Qinghai lies on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau: high altitude, wide day–night temperature swings and long, severe winters make traditional greenhouse mushroom growing difficult. Fresh mushrooms have long depended on long-distance transport, which means high costs and poor freshness.

In 2024, a local customer — aiming to build a plateau-specific edible-mushroom industry and create local jobs — purchased ten of our 40ft mushroom cultivation cabins. All ten were delivered and commissioned within the year, achieving stable, controllable, year-round mushroom production on the plateau.

2. The Solution: 40ft Mushroom Cultivation Cabin

The 40ft container-type cabin matches standard shipping-container dimensions, is prefabricated in the factory, transported whole and ready to run on arrival — ideal for rapid deployment on plateaus and in remote areas.

• Container structure — Standard 40ft box, rugged and crane-liftable; no need to break hardened ground — it installs directly on a concrete yard, ideal for rented sites.
• Intelligent climate control — Temperature, humidity, ventilation and light are all automatically regulated, with dedicated adaptation to plateau cold, dryness and strong UV for stable year-round harvests.
• Closed, clean growing — An independent sealed interior keeps out dust, pests and contaminants, for cleaner, more uniform mushrooms and easier management.
• Remote IoT management — Monitor and adjust cabin parameters from phone or PC; one operator can run multiple cabins, sharply cutting labour costs.
• Fast delivery — Factory-finished units ship by road, plug in and start production; far faster from order to harvest than conventional built mushroom houses.
• Flexible scaling — Expand cabin by cabin as needed: pilot small, then replicate; ten cabins already form a standardized mushroom production base.

3. On Site

The ten cabins are lined up on the Qinghai site as a standardized “mobile mushroom factory” production zone. They rest on elevated legs on the existing concrete yard — no ground damage, no construction permits, flexible land use.

Since commissioning, the cabins have withstood plateau temperature swings and winter cold, fruiting on schedule, and the customer has confirmed the equipment's stability and mushroom quality.
