Project Background
Lushan County lies in the heart of the Funiu Mountains. With a long history of mushroom cultivation and a solid industrial base, it is a well-known edible mushroom producing area. In recent years, local growers and agricultural operators have been looking for a direction: moving from traditional bulk mushrooms toward higher-value rare species.
Golden tremella (Naematelia aurantialba), known as the “gold of mushrooms”, is rich in gelatinous substances and nutrients. It is a rare edible mushroom with strong market demand and premium pricing in recent years. However, golden tremella is extremely sensitive to its growing environment: if temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration or light fluctuate even slightly, it may fail to form balls, turn pale, or lose quality — making stable mass production very difficult in traditional greenhouses.
In 2025, to develop high-value specialty agriculture, a local customer in Lushan purchased six 40ft golden tremella cultivation cabins from our company. They were delivered and put into fruiting the same year, opening a new path for industrialized golden tremella cultivation at the foot of the Funiu Mountains.
Solution: 40ft Golden Tremella Cultivation Cabin
To meet the special requirements of industrialized golden tremella cultivation, the six cabins delivered this time were specially configured, with full-process adaptation from cabin structure to climate-control parameters.
- Dedicated climate control for golden tremella — Temperature, humidity, airflow and light parameters are calibrated for each growth stage, keeping the cabin environment stable year-round regardless of mountain day-night temperature swings or seasonal changes.
- Multi-tier rack cultivation — Vertical bottle-cultivation racks make full use of vertical space and multiply the planting capacity per cabin; output per unit area far exceeds traditional flat cultivation.
- Clean, sealed space — An independent sealed cabin blocks outside dust, pests and contaminating fungi; combined with a fresh-air filtration system, it provides a clean, low-contamination “sterile workshop” for golden tremella.
- Smart IoT management — Remote viewing and adjustment of cabin parameters via phone or computer, with automatic alerts for abnormalities — one person can manage multiple cabins, making fruiting management data-driven.
- Fast installation, fast production — Factory-assembled and delivered by road directly to the base; placed on elevated foundations and ready to run once connected to power. The time from arrival to fruiting is far shorter than building a traditional mushroom house.
- Scalable by the cabin — Six cabins form one standardized golden tremella production unit. Once the process is established, more can be added at any time, keeping investment pace and capacity expansion fully controllable.
On-Site
The six cabins are neatly arranged on the Lushan site according to the terrain, elevated on foundations — no large-scale civil works and no damage to the original ground surface. Backed by the Funiu Mountains, the base is open mountain land outside, while inside the cabins are stable “constant-temperature, constant-humidity mushroom rooms”.
After being put into operation, the golden tremella on the multi-tier racks grew evenly with a full golden color, and the fruiting performance met expectations. The customer spoke highly of the equipment’s stable operation and the quality of the golden tremella.
